    Why does the lid remain open for only 20 minutes? Can the time be extended?

    The 20-minute feeding window is intentionally preset and is not currently adjustable. Based on our product testing, this duration provides a balanced mealtime window while limiting how long fresh or wet food is exposed to room air.

    Leaving wet food uncovered for too long can cause moisture loss, drying, and changes in aroma and texture, making it less appealing to pets. A consistent feeding window can also help pets develop a more regular mealtime routine instead of grazing for extended periods.

    After 20 minutes, the lid closes automatically to help protect the remaining food and maintain its freshness and palatability. For pets that naturally eat more slowly, we recommend serving smaller portions or scheduling an additional meal.
